'Breathing' VFD Nightlight
This section introduces the Russian IV-15 tube which forms the visual centrepiece. Included in this section is some information about the theoretical operation of the tube, as well as how to drive it.
This short section talks about the specifications and features that will be included in this project and giving a brief, first-order overview of the design solutions required to implement such features.
This section gives a look at the initial considerations for designing a power supply module to generate the high voltage for the IV-15 anode including a more in-depth specification for it and finding a suitable chip to use.
